Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

What makes us different?

Our people.

Our people are our pride. We look for, and keep employees who go the extra mile when it comes to patient care. Our motto "Compassion, Pride, Respect" is not a cliché phrase we throw around on marketing materials because it sounds nice, it is what we believe. We talk about it with all new hires and at staff meetings throughout the year. We know our people believe in it because we hear it from our patients all the time. They may not use the words "Compassion, Pride, and Respect," but we hear them just the same in their messages.

"Your team is so good with momma, they do not rush her and they are so gentle."

"You guys are always here when you say you are going be and that makes such a difference."

There are a lot of companies with slogans and promised deals, but for us C.P.R is more than a catchphrase, it is a way of life. Please, do not just take our word for it, try it for yourself.

Will Medicare/Insurance cover medical transportation?

Generally speaking yes, but it depends on the patient's physical condition and destination. Each case is different and to better serve you we would like to discuss your case personally. Please call us toll free at 877-261-8911.

Other FAQ

Should I call you if I have an emergency?

No. While we employ paramedics and equip our trucks like an ambulance, we are not an emergency ambulance provider. If you have an emergency, you should call 911. However, if someone with an emergency contacts us, we will help to contact the appropriate emergency provider.

How much notice do we need?

More often than not we can provide same-day service. However, additional notice does increase the likelihood that we will be able to meet your appointment time preference.

Can I ride with my loved one?

We do allow riders with our patients if there are extenuating circumstances. These exceptions include:

  • A parent riding with a child
  • If a patient is very upset, in physical pain, or otherwise unstable and the passenger's presence will positively impact the comfort level of the patient.

Will you wait with my loved one once they reach his or her destination?

We can drop off the patient and pick him or her up once the appointment is complete, or we can wait with the patient. There are additional fees associated with waiting at an appointment beyond 30 minutes.

Do you transport out of state?

Yes. We can either pick-up or drop-off across state lines. Due to the strain long distance trips cause for the patient, we typically restrict transports to states east of the Mississippi River. Long distance trips are evaluated on a case by case basis and we would be happy to discuss your trip today!
